Ana is a self-taught acrylic artist who grew up in Pismo Beach and came to painting through a deeply personal route. The birth of her son in 2023 pushed her toward the canvas, first as a way to manage the emotional weight of prenatal and postpartum life, then as a full-time practice.

Her paintings are large-scale abstract florals that draw from two places she knows well. The color palette of her Latin heritage and the natural landscapes of California’s Central Coast show up in almost everything she makes. She paints intuitively, starting directly on the canvas with no sketches. Once a series is complete, she seals each piece under two coats of protective varnish before it ships to collectors.
