Happy September! Fall is knocking on the door, and our store is about to get even busier. We’ve got several new makers settling in, a couple of community events on the calendar, and plenty of reasons to stop by more than once this month. Be sure to come out and experience Art After Dark; it’s such a fun, unique event that ties in so many artists, businesses, locals, and visitors all together on one special night.

September 4th Art After Dark

AH Art Studio
Join us for a live linocut printmaking demo by Amber for Art After Dark on Friday, September 4th from 5 to 8pm.
Watch her carve a design into a linoleum block, roll it with ink, and press it onto paper to reveal the finished print.
Journey to Inspiration Photography
Colette will be exhibiting her fine art prints. Through her lens, she brings the Central Coast’s ocean and wildlife to life.
Come see her work on display throughout the month of September.
Paint the Plaza
Come celebrate with us on September 19th from 11am to 5pm for Downtown SLO’s inaugural chalk art festival!
It’s a community chalk art festival that invites local artists to transform the plaza into a colorful outdoor artwork space, celebrating the Central Coast’s arts community.

SLO Pickle Festival
We’re heading to the SLO Pickle Festival on October 10th from 11am to 3pm!
This fun, family-friendly event celebrates all things pickled, with pickle sips and bites, live music, local vendors, interactive activities and more.
Beyond the fun, this festival benefits Meals That Connect, a local nonprofit providing free, nutritious meals to seniors across SLO County.
Come see our booth and enjoy a day of family-friendly fun for a great cause!

Emerson Rose Leather
Emerson is the one-woman force behind Emerson Rose Leather, based in Oceano, California. She hand-paints each leather piece, turning every product into functional art.
The Crafty Hooker
Heather crochets the most adorable stuffies and every single one has its own personality. She also makes fidget squeezers that are perfect for all ages, soft, squishy, and great for anyone who needs something to keep their hands busy.
